I found ample parking upon arrival. The receptionist, Sherrie, greeted me with a friendly attitude. Sherrie explained the hotel had a 'Game Meat Evening', a 3-course meal with complimentary wine and live music. I was upgraded to the indulgence room and I appreciated the roll top bath and tea and coffee facilities. The large bed had decent pillows. The meal I chose was delicious with a great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff.

Our stay wasn't entirely smooth. The room cleaning was not consistent. I found dusty surfaces. A damp patch also marked the ceiling, which i found VERY annoying. service at dinner was slow, and clearing tables took too long. These issues significantly impacted my overall impression.
